About me

I am Dendi Sherpa from beautiful Solukhumbhu region of Nepal. This region is renowned as the home of the mighty Mt. Everest. So having spent my early days in the lap of the Himalayas, I am always been fond of it. I later went on to get trainings in guide, mountaineering and cooking courses to enhance my skills. Add to that my vast knowledge about the mountains where I am grown up, well all these are the reasons that makes me one of the most able Mountaineering Leader/Guide since 1999. I have already scented the world's highest peak, Mt. Fverest, 4 times (8848 meters.), Cho-0 —Yu two times (8201 meters), Shisapangma one time (8013 meters) as well as peaks under 6000 meters more than a hundred times.

I have been living in Kathmandu with my wife including our 2 sons and 3 daughters. Apart from extensively trekking and climbing in numerous areas of Nepal, I am also travelled all across the seventy five districts of my home country! I am also been to Singapore and Bangkok. However, my reason for visiting Bangkok is a noble one. I was there to attend a meeting of the Universal Peace Federation. Being the Youth Ambassador of Universal Peace Federation, Nepal, I attended the meeting as a representative of Nepal. My desire is to see peace and harmony prevail in my dear country and the world.
